Rome • Day 7-8

Rome is an amazing city. Home of the Colosseum, St. Peter's Basilica, and many other wonderous places, Rome is one of the most culturally educational cities that we visited. When I saw the Colosseum, I was in awe. This amazing structure was built hundreds of years ago without the aid of today's modern machines. It was a huge structure with underground labyrinths to house the lions before their 'bouts' in the ring, and yet despite its vast size, there was still great attention to finer details, such as the typical Roman archways.

The other main attractions in Rome were the many cathedrals. They were all very amazing, with their elaborate decor and rich pasts. For anyone interested in arts and history, this is definitely the place to visit.
